This museum is located in the old control tower for the La Sabana airport, which was closed down after a new one was built in downtown San Jose. There is no entry fee, so visitors can enjoy the 6,000 pieces of history for free. The museum also has educational services like critical thinking of plastic consumption and such. The neocolonial building, built in the 1930s, is a piece of history worth admiring.

New National Stadium of Costa Rica

This multi-purpose stadium is known for its cleaniness, and for also replacing the old stadium. Built in 2011, this new stadium can house about 35,000 occupants, which in turns allows fans to watch soccer in all its glory. In fact the first event the stadium hosted was a friendly match between Costa Rica and China, which ended in a tie. However, that's not all as the stadium has hosted a number of concerts as well. The National Muesum of Costa Rica

A special look at Costa Rican history with objects that pre-date the Columbus era. Built in 1917, it was originally a military barrack, and it was used in the civil war in 1948, in fact there's still bullet holes adorning the walls from war.However, after the war the military was abolished, and the former barracks was turned into a museum. The building itself contains stories from times long past that can be passed onto every person who visits. Anthropologists and archaeologists enthiatsinits ,in particular, will have a blast in this museum.
